The weather couldn't have been more perfect for the 18-hole club championship that was held on Saturday, August 22nd. Thanks to everyone who donated tee prizes for the holes, they were a great addition to the golf!
Congratulations goes out to Vicki Thurman who shot a 77 and was crowned Club Champion for the 2nd consecutive year. The great part about the championship was that everyone who participated won some money in the pro shop. Thanks to the leadership of the ladies league for doing such a great job this year. That includes: Debbie Midgley, Faith Wallin, Marla Birch, Gayleen Kaneko and Vicki Thurman.
The bar has been set high and we all have high hopes for even more success and fun next year!

9-Hole Team Championship

Congratulations to Debbie Midgley and the Bountiful Ridge team for their win over Cheryll Lawson and the Forest Dale women at the first ever 9-Hole Team Inter- Division Championship Match. Played at Rose Park on Thursday, August 20, Bountiful Ridge scored 31.5 to Forest Dale's 22.5 in the 6-women team match.

Cudos to both teams for their outstanding performance during the regular season. In the run-up to the Championship Round, Bountiful Ridge's team finished 6- 0 in Division I and Forest Dale ended at 5-1 in Division II.

The Champion players were Debbie Midgley, Vickie Thurman, Trudy Sanderson, Faith Wallin, Hope Dubach, and Gayleen Kaneko. The challengers included Cheryll Lawson, Anita Cohne, Lynda Babcock, Donna Reid, Kathy Bushnell, and Michele Bonacci.

Play of the Day Changes/Team Play Updates

To accomodate the Team Play schedule we have made some changes on the Play-of-the-Day schedule. For the rest of the season it will be as follows:

July 13th--Bingo, Bango, Bongo

July 20th--1st day of Ringer Tournament

July 27th--Two Frutt's

Aug 3rd--2nd day of Ringer Tournament

Aug 10th--3rd day of Ringer Tournament

Aug 17th--4th day of Ringer Tournament

Saturday August 22nd--Club Championship (We will be playing 18 holes, tee times will be assigned according to handicaps, starting at 7:30 AM.)

Aug 24th--Mulligan and a Frutt

Aug 31st--Play just for fun

TEAM PLAY UPDATE:
The Team Play has been very fun and successful for the Bountiful Ridge Ladies this year. We are undefeated so far with only one match remaining against Park City on July 27th. Anyone wishing to see the official results on the UWGA website can go to: http://www.uswga.org/tournaments/team_play/

LEAGUE OPENING SOCIAL on April 20th

Welcome to the Bountiful Ridge Women's Monday Night League! (9-hole)

*We will have our Opening Social on April 20th from 5:30-7pm, snacks served. There you can sign up for league. The cost this year is $40.00. UGA membership is required. We also would like to play "Team Play" with other courses. If you are interested (or curious) we will have more info at the Opening Social.

*Play begins April 27th and goes for 17 weeks: payouts will be paid weekly.
