The purpose of this blog is to provide updated information to all lady golfers who are interested in playing in the Monday Night Bountiful Ridge Ladies 9-Hole League.
Our goal for the 2009 golf season is to grow the league in the number of golfers who participate. To do that we need to all talk to our friends and neighbors and invite them to join our league.
We will have new leadership in the league for the 2009 season. Deb Midgley, Faith Wallin, Gayleen Kaneko and Marla Birch have volunteered to manage the league. Special thanks to all past leaders, they did a great job.
One new component of the league in the 2009 season will be participating in "team play" with other ladies leagues in the area. Addie Fullerton was overheard telling some of the ladies league members that, "Team play is the most fun I've ever had playing golf." Team Play is a competition between participating leagues. It will be a 9-hole format played in the evening on a night other than Monday so it won't interfere with league play. Team play is optional, but all who are interested may participate. Details about the team play will be available in the spring.
